Full Description
At TF17013272 a probable Roman settlement. A close group of very small ditched enclosures, seen as cropmarks on APs. Site not visited. Area predominately under crop without evidence of occupation. No finds were made, nor are any known locally.{1} AT TF171329 a dense scatter of RB sherds.{2}{3} THIS SITE WAS FORMERLY SCHEDULED, AND FORMS PART OF A LARGE COMPLEX OF ROMAN SETTLEMENT AND FIELD SYSTEM REMAINS (20058). {4}{5} AT TF 17053267 A SCATTER OF POTTERY, FIRED CLAY, BONE, QUERN AND SHELL. {6}
