Full Description

A former level crossing keepers cottage at Tytton Lane. The crossing was on part of the Lincolnshire Loop line, which was constructed by the Great Northern Railway in October 1848. The building was of two storeys, constructed of yellow brick and featured a slate roof. Its long dimension ran parallel to the railway line. A two-storey extension was added to the eastern end before 1905. A red brick toilet was added in the garden at some point after 1905. The building was extant in 1966, but was demolished at some point before the Boston to Algarkirk Diversion road was constructed in 1991. {1}{2}
