Full Description
A former level crossing keepers cottage at London Road. The crossing was on part of the Lincolnshire Loop line, which was constructed by the Great Northern Railway in October 1848. The building was single-storey, constructed of yellow brick and featured a slate roof. An extension was to the south-east corner, and a red brick toilet and shed were added to the garden to the north. The building was extant in 1966, but was demolished at some point before the Boston to Algarkirk Diversion road was constructed in 1991. {1}
