Full Description

A type 22, hexagonal, concrete pillbox at Freiston Shore. Formed part of the defences of the Boston Examination Battery (see MLI13376). The standard pillbox design was modified to add a second storey platform for an anti-aircraft gun emplacement. {1}{2}{3}{4}
