Full Description

The Church of St Mary and Nicholas is in built in the Transitional to Perpendicular style. The guild of the blessed St Mary at Wrangle is mentioned twice, in 1516 and 1535. {1}{2}{3}{4}{5} Stained glass in this church, some of which is in situ, dates to the 14th to 15th centuries, to approximately 1345-50 AD, and 1410-30 AD. Some of the glass is in the International Style. {6} Parish church built in approximately 1300. Ewan Christian restored it in 1875 to 1878. It is built from limestone ashlar with lead and slate roofs.
