Full Description
Earthworks of medieval ridge and furrow, to the north-east of Ludney. Identified on aerial photography examined as part of the National Mapping Programme. {1}
The remains were also noted on aerial photographs dated to 1999, and during a site visit conducted in August 2004, by the Lincolnshire Coastal Grazing Marsh project. {2}
Although impacted by modern construction and developments, fragments of the ridge and furrow survive as parallel linear earthworks in the western fields, as seen on the Google Maps satellite imagery layer and on LiDAR data for this area. {3}{4}
