Full Description

Three Prehistoric worked flints were recovered from this area of the route of the proposed Grantham Southern Relief Road during a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording in 2012. The assemblage comprised a Mesolithic core fragment with blades removed from one surface, and an irregular-shaped flake and a broken utilised flake both dateable only to the wider Prehistoric period. {1}{2}
