Full Description

During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording in 2014, a small pit-like feature containing a pinkish red heated soil was encountered. Interpreted as a possible hearth or fire pit, it was tentatively dated to the Saxo-Norman period by a single sherd of pottery. {1}{2}
