Full Description

Ditches and pits of probable Medieval date were encountered during a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording in 2012. Finds recovered included roe deer bones and a lead window came, probably from the adjacent All Saints' Church (see MLI22221). Human remains and coffin nails were also identified, within a former graveyard soil associated with the church; these were left undisturbed. {1}{2}
