Full Description

During a programme of trial trenching in October 2011, a wide ditch or linear pit was identified, containing large quantities of pottery, tile and animal bone. Most of the pottery, which mostly dated to the 14th-15th centuries, was water worn, and it was suggested that they may have been redeposited in antiquity. {1}{2}
