Full Description
Two ditches and a possible infilled dyke of unknown date were encountered on land to the east of Hadwick Mews, Old Leake, during trial trenching in February 2003. The dyke ran east-west and likely formed a dividing line between two parcels of land pre-dating the modern road layout. {1}{2}
A further undated ditch was encountered at the northern end of the site during a subsequent watching brief in early 2004. {3}{4}
