Full Description

Archaeological monitoring of a residential development recorded ditches, gullies, and pits. Despite the flooding on site, the features were recorded along with a discrete flood deposit below the top soil. It was considered possible that some of the features may relate to existing houses in the area, and that some may predate the 18th century, although partly due to conditions on site no firm dating was encountered. {1}{2}
