Full Description
Four gullies on the same alignment were noted during trial trenching excavations in the north of the site. The presence of a single sherd of greyware along with the proximity and similar character of the features was considered by the excavators to be suggestive of a Roman boundary ditch which shifted over time. {1}{2}
