Full Description
Two undated gullies were recorded in neighbouring trenches during excavations north of Trent Lane and Dunham road. The gullies did not appear to be connected but contained very similar fills. Both were overlain by windblown deposits which may date to the 11th century based on similar deposits from other sites off the Trent, although the excavators noted that the windblown events were intermittent rather than associated with a specific period. {1}{2}
