Two Nissen huts are located in this field south of Fillingham Lane, to the west of Carisbrooke Farm. Both huts are made of corrugated metal sheeting, with each measuring roughly 11m long. The westernmost hut has two windows to its northern side, thought to be original. The huts date from the Second World War, and were originally used by soldiers manning a searchlight position in the adjacent field, with a nearby base marking one of the former searchlight positions. One of the huts served as a kitchen and pantry, whilst the other served as sleeping quarters. The huts appear to be in relatively sound condition and are now in use for farm storage. {1}{2}
