Full Description
Several undated ditches were revealed durin archaeological trial trenching at Willingham by Stow farm (ELI14489).
An undated ditch was found in trench 24, aligned north east to south west. Single ditches were found in trench 27 and another in trench 28. Both these ditches were aligned east to west. The ditches contained animal bones, but no datable finds.
The features are probably linked with the Late Iron Age/Roman activity also found during the same excavation (MLI127477), and are also probably related to Roman activity to the east of the site (MLI84314).
