Cropmarks of a number of circular and curvilinear features are visible on an aerial photograph taken in 1971, of this area to the south-west of Malt Kiln Farm, Goltho. Whilst the exact date or function of these features remains uncertain, there has been speculation that they represent the remains of a late Iron Age or Roman enclosure and settlement site. {1}{2}{3}
