Full Description

The site of a post-Medieval watermill and mill pond on the River Rase, to the north of West Rasen. The mill has since been demolished, and the mill pond infilled, with the course of the Rase since straightened and moved further north. The mill appears to have been historically associated with Manor Farm (MLI117945), and is referenced in the 1910 Land Tax valuation book as part of the farm's holdings. White's 1842, 1856, 1882 and 1892 directories all list the occupation of the residents of Manor Farm as 'farmer and miler'. {1}{2}
