Full Description

Two ditches of Roman date were encountered on land at Temple Hill, Hough-on-the-Hill, during trial trenching in June-July 2013. Five sherds of early Roman pottery were recovered from the backfill of each ditch, including a sherd of Central Gaulish Samian. {1}{2}
