Full Description

The foundational remains of a possible Medieval limestone rubble wall were encountered adjacent to Main Street, Torksey, during monitoring of the excavation of an electric cable trench in 1999. 13th-15th century pottery was recovered from a sealing deposit overlaying the wall. {1}{2}
