Full Description

A small group of undated features including a possible kiln were identified on land at Elsea Park, Bourne, during a geophysical survey conducted in April 2012. Two linaer anomalies representing possible ditches were encountered in the centre in the survey area, with a curvilinear anomaly to their north that was interpreted as a possible ring gully. At the western edge of the site, a possible kiln and spread of ceramic or ferrous material were encountered, along with a group of possible ditches and pits. {1}
