Full Description
A discrete waste pit was encountered on land to the north of Mareham Road, Horncastle, containing two abraded sherds of Romano-British pottery and a moderate quantity of animal bone. Only one fragment of bone showed signs of butchery, having been chopped through. {1}{2}
