Full Description
A Roman cremation burial was encountered on land to the east of Middle Street, Burton by Lincoln, during an archaeological excavation in August-September 2019. The cremated remains, weighing 796g, were buried in a glass urn deposited in a small pit. The burial was located within a partially revealed rectangular enclosure; no other burials were encountered. {1}{2}
