Full Description

An excavated shallow pit containing a single sherd of possible Bronze Age or Iron Age pottery. In addition to the single sherd, the deposit was of a distinctly different colour and texture to the other features on the site which are presumably undated. It is likely the pit has been truncated by later activity. {1}{2}
