An area of ditches and evidence for burning was recorded in excavations in 2020, with pottery recorded dating to between the 12th and 15th centuries.

Full Description

An area of ditches recorded in geophysics {1}{2} and trial trenches {3}{4}. A large quantity of pottery was recorded, much of which dated to the 12th century. Animal bone recovered was not considered strongly diagnoistic. Carbonised seeds and cereal grains, as well as charcoal and burnt pottery were also identified in samples.
