Full Description
A possible trackway and ditch of unknown date were identified on land off Brook Street, Hemswell, during a magnetometry survey by Allen Archaeology in 2017. The trackway was characterised by a pair of east-west aligned parallel linear anomalies, while the possible ditch ran northeast-southeast across the entire site. To the north of the area, several curvilinear anomalies may also represent archaeological features, but could instead be of geological origin. {1}{2}
