Full Description

The foundation course of a north-south aligned wall measuring 13.35m long and 0.65m wide was identified on land to the south of Clint Lane, Navenby. The wall was constructed of faced limestone blocks with a limestone rubble core. It was sealed by a probable buried plough soil containing animal bone and Saxo-Norman pottery. {1}{2}
