Description
A programme of archaeological monitoring and recording was conducted during groundworks for the development of a new residential property on land to the south of Clint Lane, Navenby. A wall constructed of faced limestone blocks with a limestone rubble core was revealed in the centre of the site, running north-south, perpendicular to the road. It was sealed by a probable buried plough soil containing animal bone and Saxo-Norman pottery. {1}{2}
