Full Description
A series of medieval features were identified on land to the south of Orby Road, Burgh le Marsh. A square pit, possibly used to store water, a series of drainage ditches and boundary ditches, and a beam slot and postholes were revealed during trial trenching in 2013. Several of these features truncated a Roman road and paved surface identified at the same time (see MLI27017). {1}{2}
