Full Description

Cropmarks of sinuous, curvilinear feature are visible on aerial photogrpahs taken of this area to the south-west of Tetney. It is thought likely that the feature is a former watercourse, running roughly west to east across fields now utilised by Tetney golf course. The course of the stream is not marked on historic or modern Ordnance Survey mapping and is likely to have been usurped by the Tetney Drain. Its proximity to a number of Bronze Age round barrows in this area may be of some significance. {1}{2}{3}
