Full Description

A series of undated features comprising a pit and two ditches were identified during a programme of trial trenching undertaken on land at Bourne Road, Morton, in 2021. The fill of the pit was orange in colour and may have been heat-affected. One sherd of likely intrusive mid-17th to 18th century pot was recovered from one of the ditches. {1}{2}
