Full Description

19th century school buildings. Small, one range, one storey red brick building, under a pitched half hipped roof, which appears to be a modern replacement. Dentil course at eaves height. Ashlar window surrounds. The school has been expanded significantly in the 20th century and there are a number of modern brick and prefabricated classroom buildings on the site. {1} School erected in 1869 by the vicar and in 1872 was attended by around 80 pupils of both sexes. {2} The building can be seen on both the 1887 and 1907 OS maps of Bracebridge. {3}{4}
