Full Description

Former schoolmaster's house. Two storey, three bay building of coursed limestone blocks, under a pitched gabled slate roof. Two gable stacks. Gables are coped with stone. {1} The house was built in 1841 as accommodation for the schoolmaster of the neighbouring National School. {2} Both buildings can be seen on the 1889 and 1905 OS maps of Carlton Scroop. {3}{4}
