Full Description

Site of a former infant school. Described in 1893 as a 'picturesque Infant School in a central position in the village', but considered to be insufficient to the requirements of the village. It was replaced by a new school in that year, and its subsequent use is unknown. The building is marked as a school on the 1888 OS map, and consists of a single range with a porch, with an outhouse to the rear. The building is still shown on the 1904 OS map, though no longer marked as a school. The building was demolished at some point in the 20th century. {1}{2}{3}
