Full Description

Former school. Single storey red brick building, under a pitched gabled tile roof. Gable stack. Two small porches, likely to provide separate entrances for boys and girls. A wall separates the two former playgrounds and divides the outhouse to the rear of the main building, probably for the same reason. {1}{2} The relationship between this building and the adjacent stone built school (MLI95578) is unclear. This may be either a replacement or an expansion of the original school.
