Full Description

A garage and associated store buildings of mid-late 19th century origin. The buildings are in an inverted L-shape plan and together with the house at No.1 Serpentine Street create a courtyard with openings to the north and south-west. The buildings could possibly have been built as craft workshops, with one suggested use being a carters' yard. The garage is a two-storey red brick building with a sliding garage door and pitched red pantile roof. A modern breeze block construction lean-to with a corrugated metal roof appends the west elevation of the garage, as well as the north elevation of the associated store building. The store building is a single storey red brick construction with a single pitch red pantile roof. It has an unusual curved wall bonding the north and west elevations. {1}{2}
