Full Description

A quarry identified in a magnetometry survey. It appears to truncate the below-ground remains of Medieval or early post-Medieval ridge and furrow. The quarry is not recorded in the 1763 Barrowby enclosure map nor in the 1888 first edition Ordnance Survey; it is therefore probable that the quarry was in use at some point between these years. {1}{2}
