Full Description

Roman site exposed by ploughing during 1967, approximately 500 yards from a previously discovered site at Frampton Fen. {1} Romano-British pottery was found in a drainage ditch, at TF 289 414-TF288416 . Pottery was donated to the City and County Museum. {2}{3} Romano-British greyware, quern fragments, some tile and mortorium material were found. Now in the City and County Museum. {4}{5} Pottery was recovered from TF 289413. It was mainly grey ware and colour-coated ware, including some white painted sherds. {6}
