During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording on land at Stocks Lane, Faldingworth in 2016, a large substantial pit was identified. The lower fill of the pit contained two sherds of 13th-15th century pottery, and the upper fill of the pit contained a single sherd of 13th-14th century pottery. {1}{2}
