Full Description
During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording on land off Orchard Road, Fiskerton, two short lengths of parallel and undated stone wall foundations were identified. These were both composed of random, uncoursed, unworked and unshaped angular limestone fragments with no bonding material. This was overlain by a late post-medieval to early modern ploughsoil, so the wall may be of medieval or early post-medieval date. {1}{2}
