Full Description

During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording on land adjacent to Walnut House, Maidenwell Lane, Navenby, an undated pit was identified. It contained a grey-brown sandy clay fill which contained tile, animal bone and mussel shells. The pit was unable to be dated but it appeared to cut a feature which was dated to the late 17th to 18th centuries. {1}{2}
