Full Description

Hardwick Grange belonged to Swineshead Abbey, and was listed in the crown bailiff's report when the abbey was dissolved in 1534. {1}{2} Hardwick Grange is a nondescript building-now two farm cottages. There are no indications of an earlier house. {3} East of village. Slightly raised enclosure. Moat filled in. Slight mound and ditch. {4} Late medieval pottery found. {5}
