Full Description

A type 22 pillbox of the Second World War Coastal Crust is thought to have stood in this vicinity. It formed part of the defences of the Gibraltar Point Coastal Defence Battery (see MLI43285). The pillbox was likely built of concrete with wooden shuttering. It is thought to have faced east, and had three embrasures. {1}
