Full Description

During a programme of archaeological monitoring and recording at The Walled Garden, South-East of Riby Church, Riby, an undated pit was identified in the area of groundworks associated with the construction of the new residential dwelling. The pit was small and contained a single base sherd of 2nd century Roman greyware, probably a jar or large beaker which may have been produced in the Market Rasen area. {1}{2}
