Full Description
The remains of a linear ditch and circular pit were recorded in this area in July 2021, during trial trenching on land to the west of Newark Road. The ditch was aligned on a north to south axis, with the adjacent remains of the pit lying to its immediate east. No finds or dating material were recovered from the fills of either feature however, and their exact origins remains uncertain. {1}{2}
