Full Description

Former workers cottage at the Bardney Gas Works. The cottage is thought to have been constructed in 1863, at the same time that the works were established (see MLI92079). The works were built on the site of an existing coal wharf, however, and it may be that the cottage also has earlier origins. The cottage is single-storey, and is built of rendered brick and features a hipped, slate roof. {1}{2}{3}
