Full Description

Probable 19th century former farmhouse at 14 High Street. The building is named as Everton House on mid 20th century documents and historic mapping of this area, although it is unclear whether this was the origianl name of the farmhouse and farmstead. The building is of two storeys, being three bays wide and one deep with a projecting rear wing of two bays. It was constructed of brick with stone sills, although the exterior was rendered with concrete at some point, likely in the mid 20th century. The building features a hipped slate roof, with a single chimney with two flues at the eastern end. The original windows have been replaced in modern uPVC, and there is a small modern pantiled porch canopy over the centrally placed front door. {1}{2}{3}
