Full Description

Stone buttressed wall with saddleback coping and a pair of chamfered square piers with pyramidal caps, providing access to the platforms at Stamford Town Railway Station. Two further, identically styled stone piers lie in isolated positions to the east of the footbridge, and to the north-west of the station building. The structures are thought to have been constructed in 1848, at the same time as the main station building.
