Full Description
A dozen or so redeposited prehistoric flints were found during the 1930s excavations at the Norton Disney Roman Villa site (see PRN 60745). All of the flints were recovered from the lowest, 1st century AD occupation levels of the site, and would suggest activity in this area that predates the construction of the villa. Four of the flints are held by Newark Museum. {1}{2}
