Full Description

Triple-ditched linear cropmark feature to the west of Long Bennington. The east-west aligned cropmarks have been traced over a distance of 2.4km, and form a 'T'-junction with another north-south aligned multi-ditch cropmark feature (see PRN 34086) towards its eastern end. The cropmarks were identified in aerial photographs, and recorded by the National Mapping Programme. This linear feature may be part of a larger Jurassic Spine Prehistoric route way or boundary system (see PRN 50330). {1}{2}{3}
